Given the extremely difficult economic times and the difficulty that many Americans are having in finding and keeping jobs, keeping their homes, and providing for their families. Is it reasonable for a person to even consider career changes or leaving their current place of employment?
Hobo is asking this question because I recently had a conversation with a couple of my co-workers who have been considering job changes. Lately we’ve begun to feel somewhat burned out from what we may consider a job that really does not have any room or potential for upward growth. But at the same time I feel a little bit selfish in considering giving up what some individuals are so desperately in need of today.
So, Hobo is asking is it more important to always make an effort to grow personally and spritually or to sometimes just be “realistic” and maintain what you are blessed to already have?
Looking for answers,
HoboE
