As we move closer to Martin Luther King's Speech with the election of President Obama, we are also reminded of how far apart we are with the November elections.
It seems for every step forward, we take two steps backwards. In remembrance of MLK, try to be of service to someone else today. Try to be a part of a solution and not a problem. Love someone in all of your glory. Give peace a chance.
My daughter's birthday is January 16th and I am reminded every year that she ages, how I desperately want her world to be a much kinder, gentler and fairer place for children and people of all colors. The world in which Dr. King spoke of in his I Have a Dream speech.
