As most of you may know, my son is located in Japan now and although we communicate via cell and texting I would love to see him. So when he told me that he purchased a computer I told him to download Skype so that we could see each other!
For those of you who may not know what Skype is I’ll explain....Skype is software that enables you to make free calls anywhere in the world. Skype uses P2P (peer-to-peer) technology to connect you with other users. Click here if you want to download the free software.
So, say your kids are in college, or your parents live in another state and you want them to see their grand babies, or maybe you are like me and you have a child in the Navy, or you just want to see the person you are talking to, well then Skype is for you. But the absolute best part is that it's FREE!!!! I love that word!!!
