Are We Not in the 21st Century?

Tell me when will we wake up and smell the coffee? I know for some of us we have the coffee in the pot brewing with all the different kinds of creams…French vanilla, Caramel, and Chocolate….
Then we have a group that doesn’t know how to plug up the coffee pot let alone where the HELL the water goes….

Well if you want to know where I’m going with this….I’m a school teacher in a south suburb and I’m little annoyed with the parenting that’s going on in this community! Now don’t get me wrong…I’m not saying all or most but there’s enough to make a difference if they changed just a little.

In this community School, Education, Adults are not valued…how can you allow your child to miss days of school…months….and years. I know We are thinking it’s not even fathomable to allow Our children to miss the day he/she has to go to the doctor…we send the student for a half day…pick up the missing assignments. But there is a group of parents who don’t send their students to school for ½ of the school year, ok. The school years consist of 176 days….did you hear me? ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX DAYS. February only has 28 days and we are only in school for 16 and there are some students who will only have attended school for 10…..blowing your mind? Not because he/she is sick, hurt, ill or death..Because I (student) didn’t feel like getting up or parent was tired. Not to mention the tardiness….it’s unbelievable and I work here!
These people are taking the nationality back centuries, if these students are a part of our future…I’m sorry to say but I hope no one slips any hidden contracts in their possession to send our people back into slavery because if they do; they’ll sign it!

These students can’t read, nor write on their grade level and you think if they sent them to school half of the problem could be solved just from repetition but Hell these students don’t see anything…but the videos…and the rest of the Self-hate mess that comes on television or the radio.

The lyrics and the shows are for entertainment and if you were educated you would know...It’s for entertainment….when you are not educated you think you can actually make a life out of jumping and smashing things and calling people ungodly things in a song. I’m just sick of the mess!
