Fluffy…is what I consider myself…and all the other women who are beautifully made with a couple of extra pounds here and there! Lately, I’ve seen a blog that discusses that “Fat African-American women” are man-less simply because of their weight. Now at that point I thought to myself ….I’ve been fluffy, pleasantly plump, chunky, and as the Wii Fit says “obese” half of my life, and never ever have I had a problem with the man population.
If I may say so half of the African-American women I know who are Married are FLUFFY….VERY FLUFFY, and their husbands seem to be in marital bliss. Now I can’t say that the marital bliss comes from having an obese wife, nor can I say that unhappy marriages come from having a fit wife.
But what I can say is do not generalize Single women solely for body shape…because Personality can also be a great factor.
Recently I went on a trip and stopped in Michigan City to do some shopping, and I saw several couples. Some of those couples included African-American men with very, very, very Fluffy women who were of other ethnicities. So it’s not the weight that turns some men off, it could be the personality or the lack thereof?
