I’ve made a promise to myself to get healthy, free of excuses. This has been quite a journey. I’ve found some things that work and some that don’t. I’ve made some drastic changes. I have been able to stick with some of those changes and others I’ve learned were too drastic to be realistic.
On this journey to good health, I have discovered the idea of eating clean. Now, I have read that this phenomenon is nothing new, and honestly it’s basic common sense. It’s a way of eating that eliminates overly processed foods. Yes, that includes the white flour, white sugar and junk food items that so many of us swear by daily. It forces you to prepare fresh, healthy meals. When I first started the journey, I had no idea if I would be able to commit to such a thing with my busy schedule. However, it has been amazing! I’ve gotten a few cookbooks and have turned my kitchen into a 7th grade science lab. It’s been so much fun, and it works! It’s been 2 weeks and I’m down 10 pounds. More importantly, I feel energetic and my skin is glowing. Now, some of that credit belongs to my juicer, but the combination has been wonderful.
To learn more about eating clean, take a peak at Tosca Reno’s, The Eat Clean Diet Recharged. It’s far from a diet, but a way of life that I think I can live with.
I will keep you posted.
Peace,
Clutch
